Attractive, comfortable and functional design small kitchen – a real challenge for the hosts, which requires a lot of ingenuity and inventiveness. This is a very real voplotit. We collected excellent examples of how to do it.
For maximum comfort, the width of the free floor space should be sufficient to not constraining each other, freely able to move several people. Single row version leaves enough room for a full dining area, but if the length of the kitchen does not allow in a row to put the stove, a cutting table, a sink, a refrigerator and a floor safe, it is better to resort to an L-shaped layout. At the same time, try to make maximum use of the corners: put a corner cabinet, cupboard or sink.
The worst enemies of small kitchens – the darkness and gloom, visually “eat up” the space and killed the least desire to be in the room. Therefore it is necessary to the maximum fill the room natural and artificial lighting. Help in this light translucent curtains, furniture reflecting the light from the glossy facades, mirrors, mirror tiles, glass tops and doors, chrome fittings, spotlights directly above the work surface and dining area.
And, of course, do not forget the stylistic unity of design, perceived more holistically and harmoniously than the accumulation of disparate elements. Take care that the kitchen does not clutter up the unnecessary small things.
